I have been using Mediaeval type guards for years. They fit well and keep my keyboard nice and clean.

bought the keyboard protector when i bought my mac. never used without that. now, after 4+ years its like brand new, plus never appeared the issue with butterfly keyboard that needs replacement due to debris accumulated.

The keyboard protector fits very snugly, better than any other I've tried - very quickly, I forgot it was there. If I'd had this years ago, I'd definitely have avoided costly repairs caused by dust, and very possibly more repairs caused by a splash of coffee. I hope MediaDevil keeps on making these for the new Macs. Peace of mind for next to nothing...

This is my second purchase for the antibacterial keyboard cover, the reason being that I got a new laptop. The first one was purchased in 2015 and still is as good as the day I ordered it.

I've been buying Media Devil screen protectors for years as they are the best quality so it was only natural that is buy the keyboard covers too. This is my second keyboard cover (I upgraded my laptop). I love the sticky sections on the four corners as it ensures the cover never falls off. My laptop is protected from dust and dirt so I'm happy and would recommend this to anyone to values their Mac!

I really like this product and trust the brand. I used to own the regular protector but thought the anti-bacterial edition would be a good idea. Can barely notice it when I type. The only unfavorable thing about the protector is that it can leave light keyboard marks (like dirty fingerprints) on my screen. I assume it's from the silver nano particles (dust or powder?) that it's in the protector. It's not overly bothersome; just noticeable but it seems to wipe clean away.

This macbookpro retina keyboard protector is good, but it could be better if it was a bit thinner and had an adhesive (or something like this) to firmly attach to keyboard (In my personal opinion). Overall it's quite OK and protects keys from dirt. I didn't find a better or thinner protector for the mbp's keyboard

The cover fits perfectly with the keyboard of my MacBook Air and it provides excellent protection. The touch feedback it is not exactly the same without cover but it is excellent and you will get used to very quickly. I have only a criticism: the package I received was bended so the keyboard cover also was, I suggest to make the packaging more resistant against delivery accidents!

I use the clear version myself, but I bought this anti-bacterial version for my OCD IT worker friend as a Christmas gift. They were (and still are!) very happy. It fits perfectly.

The Typeguard is an excellent product that works as advertized. It's almost transparent to the user and very thin.

However, it's not quite perfect.

- There are enough space around the keys that the Typepad may shift upon opening the display. This space also results in key surfaces that don't always drop down exactly vertical. If you type at more than a slow pace, you'll have to wait a few milliseconds for the surface to stop vibrating before pressing the next key. This is caused by a less-than-rigid typing surface.

- It's thick enough that typing speed is notably slower, with key response suffering somewhat. If you use your computer in a very casual fashion, this wouldn't be a deal breaker. If you need to get actual work done and type frequently, the slow response and shaky keys WILL impact your typing efficiency!

Great product. I hope the design team can take this considerations into account as better, thinner materials become available.
