Samsung Galaxy S8 Tempered Glass Screen Protector (Full-Screen) | MediaDevil Magicscreen

IMPORTANT:
This glass screen protector protects the full screen of the Samsung Galaxy S8, which is curved at each of its four sides and has a very narrow screen border. This protector has a 'case fit' design, however, some cases from other brands are not designed well and can lift the screen protector edges, affecting touchscreen responsivity. This issue can be reduced by visiting Settings > Advanced Features > Touch Sensitivity.

MediaDevil's Magicscreen Screen Protector: Full-Screen Tempered Glass Clear edition protects your Samsung Galaxy S8 screen from scratches, does not reduce its touch sensitivity, and leaves no markings when removed. It is approximately 45 times harder than a regular screen protector and designed to absorb the impact of a drop onto a hard surface, thus breaking instead of your expensive device screen.

Our tempered glass has anti-shatter properties (like a car window) to ensure it is safe to handle when broken. We use a premium 0.33mm glass thickness with smooth rounded edges, superior to the 0.2mm square-edged glass used by other companies (which is very brittle and cracks/chips too easily).

My S8 tempered cover

Bought this about 2 weeks ago and I have to admit that this is the best cover I got and the price was less than the price I paid from Vodafone which cost me £25 and lasted about two weeks before I had one crack and eventually turned to 6 cracks. That's why I ordered from mediadevil. GREAT QUALITY AND PRICE.

Easy to fit

The screen saver is relatively simple to fit and is curved so that it provides protection to the bottom of the screen. I managed to get a speck of dust under the screen on the first attempt at fitting. It was straight forward to lift off the screen remove the dust and refit. Appears to a good job and so far has proved resistant to any small scratches.

50/50 REVIEW. AS WITH PREVIOUS MEDIA DEVIL PRODUCTS THE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD AND IF YOUR NOT USING WITH A CASE I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS. HOWEVER IF USING WITH A CASE I FOUND THIS DIDN'T STICK AND LIFTED UP FROM SCREEN CAUSING TOUCH ISSUES.

Finally! Tempered glass that works on the S8!

I received my Galaxy S8 two days before it was actually released. I have tried no less than 6 different screen protectors on it.... super expensive tempered glass, wet install films, dry install films, wrap arounds. I was never quite happy with any of them. I have used Mediadevil products for a long time, & as soon as this very reasonably priced tempered glass was available, I ordered. I am happy to say it does not disappointed at all! I love the smoothness, the case friendly design, and the sensitivity. The status menu easily pulls down & the keyboard is responsive. I HIGHLY recommend it. Helpful hint - clean phone well. Carefully place the protector, pressing with gentle firmness from the center. I feel you probably have one chance to place it so take a deep breath & take your time. You won't regret it!

Is it ok to use without a case? or that would make the protector ''lift'' by use?

It is absolutely fine to use without a case, but to think of a worst case situation for you: when you put the phone in your pocket, your keys could possibly get caught on the edge of the curved protector and lift it up. If there was no screen protector applied though, the keys would probably scratch the screen :)

If your case is bomb-proof, you probably don't need a screen protector :)
Your question is better addressed to the case manufacturer, whoever they may be, as they'll know if their case conflicts with screen protectors.
