What is Full Grain Leather?

  • Full-grain leather is the highest quality form of leather available. As the name suggests, it retains the full leather grain. This is why full-grain leather goods develop a durable protective patina as you use them.

  • In contrast, most "genuine" leather products today are using 'split' leather, a much cheaper material. It is created by splitting leather to remove the expensive surface, and replacing it with a leather patten stamped polyurethane (i.e. plastic) layer. In other words, it is plastic leather with real leather stuck to the back so that it can still be marketed as "genuine leather".

As gorgeous as the iPhone 4S itself ...

The iPhone is a thing of beauty, so why cover it in a cheap and nasty leather-like case when the Artisanpouch is available? I chose the black with red stitching, and it is stunning, and very stylish, as well as being nicely padded and lined to keep the iPhone safe. Perfect product!

Best, unique pouch

I searched for days online to find a unique form of protection for my phone, ranging from silicon covers to pouches, and this is by far the best looking product I found. I brought the Teal and pink pouch and it looks great, marvellous stitching, fitted with a few small holes in base for phone noises to come out sounding fuller rather than stifled. The Leather feels great, very lightweight. The front of the pouch is more padded than the back, to provide the screen with slightly more protection, but my phone feels very secure and protected by the all round. The iPhone 4 fits very snuggly as well so I have on worries that it will slip out or anything like that. Chose express shipping just before the bank holiday weekend so that it would arrive as soon as possible and after it said it was dispatched on Tuesday it came on the Wednesday. (with a couple of sweets in letter too!) So overall very very happy with my purchase, great secure good looking product and very swift shipping. Very happy customer.

Classy protection

I'm very happy with this product. It looks great, well-made, and provides excellent protection for my phone. it does not make the phone easily accessible as you have to remove it from the case to see the screen, which might make it less popular, but I'd rather not respond to every chirp, ring or sound it produces and have it safe in its case till needed.

Media Devil do it again

This has to be by far the best case I've had (I've had a few). The case itself is Beautifully handcrafted and what I like about it the most. The front is padded. So unlike lots of Previous cases I have Owned this really will keep my iphone safe. You get what you pay for. This case is worth every penny and I expect it to out last my phone. If you're reading this review to try help you make your mind up. All I can say is like all their other products you won't be disappointed.
