iPad Mini 1/2 Notebook-Style Leather Case with Magnetic Closure and Stand | Artisancover.

Individually handcrafted by European leather artisans, using the finest quality full-grain European leather. Artisancover has a professional notebook-inspired design. It features an integrated stand which provides multiple angles for reading, typing and viewing. Your device is held securely in position by a built-in matte textured polycarbonate case.

Leather types available for this case:

Aniline (soft pebble-dashed) leather:
Our aniline leather is buttery soft, with a natural, subtly pebbled surface texture. This leather is commonly used for luxury handbags, and it is almost entirely colourfast, acquiring a very subtle hue and feel over time.

Rustic (Nubuck) leather:
Our rustic leather is an expensive nubuck leather used often by premium footwear brands, as it is stronger and longer lasting than suede leather. It retains a 'rustic' appearance that displays marks from use, which is wholly intentional. It gradually matures over time, developing a rich, distinctive patina, which varies from item to item depending on how frequently each is handled (e.g. a phone case will mature faster than a laptop case).


What is full-grain leather?
Full-grain leather is the highest quality form of leather available, and is often used to make high-quality leather furniture and footwear. 'Full-grain' refers to leather that has not been treated to remove natural marks on the surface. The grain remains, allowing greater strength and durability. The grain also provides breathability, resulting in less build-up of moisture. Rather than wearing out, it develops a patina over time, gradually improving the aesthetic appearance of the product as it protects your device from daily life.

I am really pleased with my iPad Mini leather case.
My iPad fits snugly, with all controls totally accessible; the case itself feels well made and looks stylish.
My only concern, after a week or so of use, is how well the "suede-like" finish will wear over time.
However, at this point I am entirely happy with my purchase and consider that it represents excellent value for money.

The leather covers are beautifully made, and do the job both of protecting the iPad, and propping it into a comfortable writing position, truly elegantly. The two covers - one for my son who is equally delighted - were remarkable value, and arrived promptly, beautifully, even wittily packed - I wont spoil the surprise for any other customer. I also find the silky leather very comforting - in times of stress at work I find myself absent mindedly stroking it.
