This case consists of a matte textured TPU bumper-style case that covers all sides of the phone, finished with a backing layer of premium quality, full-grain, soft European aniline leather. Each piece of leather develops a rich protective patina appearance with use. Like a prized leather jacket or a favourite pair of jeans, your Artisancase will display additional character from everyday use.

Leather types available for this case:

Aniline (soft pebble-dashed) leather:
Our aniline leather is buttery soft, with a natural, subtly pebbled surface texture. This leather is commonly used for luxury handbags, and it is almost entirely colourfast, acquiring a very subtle hue and feel over time.

Rustic (Nubuck) leather:
Our rustic leather is an expensive nubuck leather used often by premium footwear brands, as it is stronger and longer lasting than suede leather. It retains a 'rustic' appearance that displays marks from use, which is wholly intentional. It gradually matures over time, developing a rich, distinctive patina, which varies from item to item depending on how frequently each is handled (e.g. a phone case will mature faster than a laptop case).

What is full-grain leather?
Full-grain leather is the highest quality form of leather available, and is often used to make high-quality leather furniture and footwear. 'Full-grain' refers to leather that has not been treated to remove natural marks on the surface. The grain remains, allowing greater strength and durability. The grain also provides breathability, resulting in less build-up of moisture. Rather than wearing out, it develops a patina over time, gradually improving the aesthetic appearance of the product as it protects your device from daily life.
