Precision Designed and Made
We are a UK screen protector manufacturer specialist. We design and produce our award-winning screen protectors in-house, at our premises in London.
Our screen protection is used in numerous high-stakes environments, such as on the steering wheel display of a Formula One racing team.
Made in Britain
Producing in the UK doesn't only allow us maximum control over our product quality. It also allows us to minimise our carbon footprint and to invest in our local community.
MediaDevil was awarded the UK Department of Trade & Investment (UKTI)'s Business Innovation Award for "demonstrating the virtues of excellent products and a passionate company".
Replaced my Apple watch for the newer version and wanted to protect the screen had previously used' another brand but couldn't find who it was. After some reading invested in this product. Unfortunately as you can see after about a week of 'normal' wear (no water submersion) the protector has started to come away from the screen. The face was thoroughly cleaned with products supplied and instructions followed. Suffice to say maybe that's why there are 3 in the pack! I'll try another one but I get the overall feeling this is not worth the money :(
So sorry to hear there was a problem and hand-on-heart this is the first time we've heard of this problem to that extent so we'll be in touch privately to offer assistance.
This is a great screen protector, once you manage to get it installed properly. It needs to be lined up 'manually' which is very tricky to do. The video shows the process but the person doing the installation has clearly been practicing! It took me three attempts. What is needed is a template, common on other similar products. That said, the protector itself is excellent. Essentially invisible and with no noticeable degradation in touch-response function.
Many thanks for your feedback and we'd certainly like to address the points you made.
Admittedly alignment with this particular Magicscreen edition can be a little tricky mainly due to the relatively small size of the protector (it is a bit more fiddly compared to phone-sized protectors) but the titanium bezels do pretty much dictate where the protector will sit. Fortunately as Ultra-Tough is thicker than a 'regular' film protector it is a lot more forgiving.
Ideally there should be a gap a fraction of a millimetre round each edge to help with this hence why the protectors are a tiny bit undersized. When we were at the design stage - as each protector is designed in-house using a real device for accuracy - using a blob of Blu-Tac or something and attaching it to the centre of the protector does make handling it at application a little more easier because then you can use it as a kind of handle and gives you more purchase.
We did discuss including an installation frame or something but decided that:
(a) It's not cost effective,
(b) we're averse to including something extra that's possibly environmentally-unfriendly,
(c) In practice for a device this size it can actually make things more awkward.
It’s alright but scratches really easily
