Excellent screen protector

Mediadevil has been my go-to place for screen protectors since my iPhone 4. I still have a first generation iPhone SE with a Mediadevil foil - it's still there, still protects the screen, still as responsive as the screen itself. It's a dry process - no need to soak your device in water or glue.

This is a lifetime foil.

So when a friend of mine got their iPhone, I recommended Mediadevil and ordered one for them (as I have an account). And they have the same experience - very easy to apply, there are two foils in the package, and the screen remains as responsive as without the film. Smooth, etc.

I prefer foils to glass-protectors for a couple of reasons. Foils are thinner so you can use proper protective cases (I use a rugged Otterbox with my iPhone 12 Max Pro and a Catalyst case with iPhone XR - both wearing a Mediadevil foil). This is important - most screen cracks are NOT a result of a phone falling on the screen but hitting the corner - energy is then transferred onto the screen from the edge of the screen and THIS causes the crack. Glass will not protect you. If the phone falls on the screen, the glass WILL crack anyway.

So forget glass, get this foil an a case that a) raises above the screen, b) protects the corners by transfering energy around the case, and you'll be fine.

Good Service & Good Product

Previously, I always used screen protectors for iPads and iPhones which were effective and could be removed for cleaning and then replaced. More expensive than some, but they were fantastic. When new Apple gear necessitated new screen protectors I found the old ones were no longer available: just tempered glass with no real choice.
