Not at all. We are a small business that was created after our co-founder, Callum, had a bad experience when purchasing a phone accessory online. Our reason for being is to provide the experience that we ourselves would hope to receive.
We're pretty unique in that we're a phone accessory brand that does actually manufacture in the UK.
After a few years of transition, we now produce the majority of our screen protectors in the UK, along with other products such as our vegan leather cases. For wholly non-political reasons, we didn't want to be a UK business in name only, as we believe domestic manufacturing is an important investment in our local economy and necessary for the UK to remain an innovative business nation.
Local manufacturing has also significantly reduced the carbon footprint of our business, which was another important factor in our decision. That's why, if we can't produce a product in the UK or Great Britain, we'll always try to produce it in a country that is accessible by road rather than requiring air or sea shipment. An example of this is our full-grain leather case range, which is made in Europe.
