Artisanphonics EB-03 Luxury Wood Earphones

I, honestly, do not remember how many years ago bought my first pair of MediaDevil headphones (earbuds). However, I do remember being astounded by the audio performance for the money. I am no stranger to audiophile grade IEMs and can honestly say that although better sounding earbuds can be bought, nothing else comes close to these at the same price point.

I have worn out/broken several pairs over the years - mainly due to my own mishandling and daily abuse, yet I continue to buy replacements because they are that good! I have also gifted several pairs to friends and family over the years.

I started with the EB-01 and have been happy with each iteration (now EB-03). I also own a pair of CB-01, which has more authorative bass performance but I prefer the more lively and agile nature of the EB-03.

As usual, how they sound for you will also depend on your source, but I have found the EB series to be more universally friendly to sources.

I was gifted a set of these headphones 6 years ago. Now through thorough usage they have worn out and I decided to come back to buy myself the very exact same pair. They are beautiful and provide high quality sound. Do just what they should do. What amazed me most though, was the service surrounding my purchase. When I made an inquiry about delivery times (from UK to EU was about 2 weeks) I was send an immediate respond, extremely friendly and willing to help me! I placed an order with Mediadevil the Delivery was very quick. The Earphones were well packaged. I have used them with my phone and my music player. Since discovering these earphones I have not bought any others. I like the sound quality, there is no static from the cable (which was a common problem I had before) and I like the physical feel of the product (solid earbuds and tough wire). Customer service is excellent whenever I have had any queries. And finally, it's nice to know that the company is eco-conscious.

I first bought these earphones (in a slightly older model) around 4 years ago. I am now on my 3rd pair- not because the headphones wear out quickly or keep breaking, but instead because I end up losing them (despite the fancy bag they are supplied with)- and then, after quickly trying a whole host of other earphones (often double the price of the EB-Series), I realise that the sound quality is so much worse than what I have got used to and end up coming back to buy the EB-Series again.
Not only that, but MediaDevil has always been extremely swift in delivery, and the entirety of product is fantastic (I'm normally not one for fancy packaging, but opening the box is a sustainable delight).
TL;DR: Simply excellent. I cannot recommend enough!

Good appearance, sensible cable, quality sound

Sound. It's obviously a personal choice - one man's poison etc... I have and always will be on the lookout for good headphones. I have tried many many brands - Shure, Sennheiser, Focal, Ultimate Ears, B&O, Klipsch, Beyer (to name a few), and usually what is considered to be middle budget models of upto circa £150. I can't remember all the specific models but they weren't cheapo.

The bottom line, particularly when you factor in price, the Mediadevils (I've had EB-01 and EB-03) are a clear winner. That's not to say that the rest are garbage (Ultimate Ears spring to mind for having terrible treble), they were mostly good in one or some ways and not so good in one or more.

I have found both the Mediadevil EB-01 and EB-03 to possess the most pleasing overall sound for a widespread genre of musical and cinematic material. The bass is deep but controlled, and there's a good dollop of it (especially when you find decent matching isolating buds/tips). Proper bassheads might still need to look elsewhere but for most mortals there's plenty enough. The mids and highs are to my liking. Treble is not biting and tiring but sharp enough to reproduce tingling definition. I've never been much of a midrange range man (ie. I never really got on with speakers from Tannoy or Rogers) but that's not saying I like a V shaped EQ curve. I love vocal material but I just don't like it in my face. I would say that the Mediadevils managebto produce a very neutral and balanced midrange.

There you have it. I felt it important to establish some context to my subjective views on the sound qualities of the Mediadevil headphones. I have not been able to compare EB-01 to EB-03 since my EB-01s broke (outside of warranty).

I really like the recycled wood & environmentally friendly packaging. I have bought 4 pairs of these & the customer service is excellent! There is no quibbling & they have replaced them really quickly without question.

I've been buying these headphones since 2014 - they are really beautiful, the remote is quick and simple to use and I love the wooden parts. Easy to untangle too. The sound is clear with strong bass, perfect fit and very comfy to wear. I'm so glad to have them.

These are really well made, excellent all round audio quality and so reasonably priced I bought 2 pairs. You will not regret this purchase.

I like the earphone very much. It is quite cheap for it’s sound quality.

This is my 3rd set of artisanphonics headphones (due to loss not breaking) and I am yet to find a pair to rival the quality of these. Great comfort, sound and they look great.

Really happy with them. They are comfy, with no tangles and a good sound. I also love the idea that they are made with recycled wood :)

I have been buying these headphones since 2014 now and i haven't found another pair that comes close to how good these are. They nail the bass on all songs, i feel i can hear every single note. They are also really comfy, i wear these nearly all the time, traveling to and from work, at work and i even plug them into my Xbox controller to use as a microphone.

The earphones also feel very high quality, i love the cord like cable that doesn't get tangled at all if handled correctly. The wood look also stands out really nice, looks slick.

Hands down would recommend these to anybody who needed earphones. Also a shout out to the great packaging that these come in and also the superb customer service after a pair i had needed replacing.

Fantastic headphones. The sound quality is pretty much perfect and they cancel a lot of noise. Really good bass and clear treble plus you get almost no sound leaking. The earpieces sit comfortably in the ear, especially with 3 sizes of buds.

Very quick turnaround, beautifully packaged and a quality product. The only reason it is not a 5* review is because for me there is not quite enough bass at low volumes. Crank them up a little (I have my headphones very quietly most of the time) and the sound balances out very nicely and the bass comes through. Top-end and mid-range very clear and realistic, I really like the anti-tangle cable and the answer/pause/skip button works really well (iOS7 in this case).

Prodotto che presenta subito le caratteristiche descritte sia come packaging che come aspetti tecnici. Finora nulla da dire, anche la qualità del suono sembra ottima per un prodotto così conveniente. Spero che mantenga intatte tali prerogative il più a lungo possibile.
